GENITIVE CASE
Definition of Genitive Case:
A genitive case is a case that is operated just for noun, pronoun or adjective that transformations of another noun. It is used for showing the possession with nouns of things. The genitive case in the classification of nouns and pronouns show the relationship of the noun and the pronoun in any sentence.

What is the Genitive case?
A genitive case is generally a grammatical case that is used to show the possession of the noun and the pronouns and the genitive case is formed by adding apostrophe ” s ” and edit of ” of “. The genitive case also indicates their ownership.
Examples:
1: I borrowed Adeel’s money.
Here, ( Noun ” Adeel’s ” is the gntive case of the sentence and ” money ” is the receiving object ( possession ). ” I ” is the subject of the sentence and ” borrowed ” is the main action verb of the sentence ).
2: Your old house was in red colour.
Here, ( Pronoun ” your ” is the gntive case of the sentence and ” house ” is the receiving possessing of the sentence and also old and blue is an adjective of the sentence. colour is the noun used as an object.
NOTE: Above some paragraphs, We had written the short form of ” Genitive Case ” like as ( gntive case ) don’t be confused over here.
Many peoples will be experienced in the term of ” genitive case ” when learning other English languages. In English Grammar, you will often listen to the phrase ” possessive case” in replace of ” genitive case ” but be mindful that the gntive case is not always about possession.
We can write the gntive case like this form:
1: Sana’s car
( The car of the Sana ) using of ” of “.
2: Corner’s table
( The table of the corner ) using of ” of “.
3: Camal’s bone
( The bone of the camel ) using of ” of “.
There are many different ways to generate the Genitive Case with an apostrophe:

What is the Difference between the ” Gntive Case ” and ” Possessive Case “
We can say the Gntive Case is called the Possessive Case. There are two items to change, but the ” possessive case ” is usually used in English Grammar when we study, So, like this case does not show the possession for always, Many writers of the grammar like to create a difference between the gntive case and the possessive case.
Example:
1: Saira’s car
Here, ( no anybody would like this gntive case and possessive case. it is the car of Sana. it is referring to the possession ).
2: Child’s cartoon
Here, ( This is not a possession and it is according to the ” cartoon for the child “.
What is the Genitive pronoun and the Adjective?
The Possessive adjective is known as the possessive determiners in the newly English grammar and possessive personal pronouns are in the conditions or form of the Gntive case.
Examples:
1: Our table
Here, ( ” our ” in the gntive case in the form of the pronoun ” we ” and table is the noun ).
2: Can I go with yours brother?
Here, ( ” yours ” is the gntive case in the form of the pronoun ” you ” ).
