The Vocative Case is the kind of Noun Case. It is the phrase or word that is use to show the direct addressing of the noun when you talk to somebody or anyone directly in the condition of private name ( doctor, bob, respectively ) and the vocative case come among the commas and full stops so like this (, john. or Ali,) and The vocative case is use as beginning or ending of the sentence. Terms of address are set off in the sentence by person’s name with the vocative commas. The terms of English Grammar for the sentences that use the vocative case is known as being in the vocative or direct addressing. it is coming from the ” Latin ” word ” Call “.

Example of Vocative Case

1: Hello, Alina.

2: Ali, Come out.
